The Trump administration blasted former Register of Copyrights’ Shira Perlmutter’s claims for re-assuming her post during litigation over her firing, calling them “indistinguishable” from those already rejected by a federal judge.

Perlmutter’s bid for a preliminary injunction reiterated the same fatally flawed theories of irreparable harm absent judicial action from her failed bid for a temporary restraining order, according to the Justice Department’s filing in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
