John Squires, nominated by President Donald Trump to run the US Patent and Trademark Office, is set to appear at his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday.
The hearing for Squires, an intellectual property attorney at Dilworth Paxson LLP, will take place at 10:15 a.m., according to a hearing notice on the committee’s website. Three other nominations—associate attorney general pick Stanley Woodward Jr., assistant attorney general nominee T. Elliot Gaiser, and US Citizenship and Immigration Services director pick Joseph Edlow—are also scheduled to be considered at the hearing.
