Tripment Strikes Back at MDSave’s ‘Irresponsible’ Patent Claims

Tripment Inc., which makes a web-based platform allowing customers to book healthcare services and procedures, asked a Delaware federal court for judgments that it hasn’t infringed MDSave Inc.’s patents or trademarks as alleged in the rival’s Texas lawsuit accusing Tripment of illegally scraping MDSave’s data and technology.

New York-based Tripment, in a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, called MDSave’s December lawsuit an attempt “to stamp out competition” and “to stymie Tripment’s business.”
