Trademark Fraudster Is Using Lawyer’s Name in Scam, IP Firm Says

A boutique intellectual property law firm sued a trademark services site it described as a “criminal operation” that infringes its trademark and an attorney’s publicity rights.

Law Integral LLC ran a fraudulent trademark and business services site and falsely claimed to its customers that One LLP attorney Joanna Ardalan was working for it, according to the lawsuit in the US District Court for the Central District of California. The complaint by One and Ardalan included trademark infringement, right of publicity, and unfair competition claims.
