Trade Agency to Investigate Bid to Block Imports of Door Cameras

The U.S. International Trade Commission said it would investigate a patent-infringement complaint that seeks to block video doorbells and cameras made by SimpliSafe, Vivint and Arlo Technologies.

  • Closely held EyeTalk365 and SkyBell Technologies, which sells its products in partnership with firms including Alarm.com, Residio and ADT, claim the rival products infringe seven patents for communication and monitoring systems
