TP-Link to Appeal Atlas Global $37 Million Texas Patent Verdict

TP-Link Technologies Co. is appealing a $37.5 million infringement judgment owed to a Texas-based owner of Wi-Fi standard essential patents.

The Chinese router maker notified the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Thursday that it would be challenging one or more rulings related to the September 2023 jury verdict and trial at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap issued an amended final judgment in the case Sept. 3.
