Traxcell Transfers Patents in Bid to Restart Verizon Suit (1)

A Texas patent-assertion entity that has unsuccessfully sued several large telecom companies and recently tried to declare bankruptcy purported to sell its assets to a similarly named entity in an effort to revive a lawsuit against Verizon.

Traxcell Technologies LLC on Monday urged the US District Court for the Western District of Texas to substitute Traxcell Technologies II LLC as plaintiff in a suit against Verizon Wireless Personal Communications LP.
