The U.S. International Trade Commission said it will investigate the latest patent-infringement complaint TiVo’s Rovi filed against Comcast which seeks to block imports of digital video receivers, broadband gateways, and related hardware.
Rovi has said the patents cover Comcast’s X1 platform including features such as the X1 Sports App, multiroom DVR features, and set-top box integrations of apps like Netflix.
