Lone Wolf Technologies, a real estate transaction software company, is the latest company to be sued by Digital Verification Systems LLC for allegedly infringing a patent for identity verification methods.
Digital Verification Systems filed its complaint in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas on Tuesday. The company alleges Lone Wolf infringed a patent for technology invented by Leigh M. Rothschild, a prominent inventor behind many patent infringement suits.
According to the complaint, the patent at the heart of the suit is for a system that helps verify electronically signed documents.
