Texas Patent Lawyer Prevails in Home-State Disciplinary Case

A Texas disciplinary proceeding involving prolific plaintiff-side patent litigator Bill Ramey was dismissed, according to court filings.

“The State Bar of Texas declined to open a grievance” against Ramey, the Houston-based attorney told the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in a notice filed Wednesday. He filed a similar notice in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
