VetStem Inc. sued Innovations Medspa PA for patent infringement, alleging it used protected methods to offer stem cell therapies to humans for treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
Innovations is an affiliate of Cell Surgical Network, a group of clinics offering stem cell procedures, according to the complaint filed Jan. 12 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. VetStem said CSN requires its affiliates to use a system and procedures that infringe its inventions.
