Texas A&M’s Win in Suit Over ‘12th Man’ Copyright Claims Stands

Texas A&M University won’t face reinstated copyright claims for posting part of a sportswriter’s unpublished work online, after the Fifth Circuit denied a petition for rehearing.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit Monday let stand its ruling that the university is immune from sportswriter Michael J. Bynum’s copyright and takings claims and clearing two university employees of copyright infringement claims.
