Polyloom Corp. of America filed federal lawsuits in Texas and Georgia alleging that several artificial grass styles sold by subsidiaries of a Chinese turf-maker infringe two patents for technology that makes the “yarn shapes” on fields more resistant to deformations from the weight of athletes.
Polyloom, doing business as TC Thiolon USA, sued Yantai-based Qingdao Bellinturf Industrial Co. and its Consan USA Inc. unit on July 3, according to a complaint docketed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
