The parent company of ultra fast-fashion marketplace Temu escaped an IP lawsuit brought by rival Shein, as a federal court said it lacks personal jurisdiction.
Shein’s suit against PDD Holdings Inc. didn’t supply enough evidence to warrant including the Ireland-based company in the litigation, Judge Timothy J. Kelly said in a Wednesday order, although PDD Holdings subsidiary Temu, whose corporate name is WhaleCo Inc., remains a defendant in the suit
