Health-technology company Telus Health Solutions GP flouted copyright law by exceeding the scope of a software license, Actian Corp told a federal court.
Telus used database-management software it had licensed from Actian in cloud environments and allowed third parties to access data processed by the software in violation of the license agreement, Actian said in a lawsuit filed Nov. 22 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
