Tech Firm Settles Patent Suit Against One Retailer, Sues Another

S3G Technology LLC ended a patent infringement lawsuit against retailer Claire’s Stores Inc. one day before filing a new action against Carter’s Inc., the latest lawsuit in a litigation campaign targeting retailers, real estate firms, and other companies.

Judge Alan Albright of the US District Court for the Western District of Texas granted S3G and Claire’s Monday motion to stay all deadlines in the case so the parties can finalize a settlement agreement.
