TCL Industries Holdings Co. and Realtek Semiconductor Corp. infringe several computer-graphics processing patents held by Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and its ATI Technologies ULC subsidiary, AMD and ATI say in a new complaint.
The patents are valid, AMD and ATI say in the complaint, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
And they have made substantial investments to develop the high quality graphics systems, they say.
Causes of Action: Patent infringement.
Relief: Injunctive relief, and damages including enhanced damages.
Response: Neither TCL nor Realtek immediately responded to requests for comment.
