TCL, Patent Owner Finalizing Agreement in Smartphone Camera Suit

TCL Technology Group Corp. and C47 Technologies LLC told a Texas federal judge they’re finalizing an agreement to resolve their patent infringement dispute concerning camera technology inside smartphones.

C47 and TCL requested a 14-day stay to finalize the settlement, according to a joint motion filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The parties said the stay will allow them to finalize documentation and submit a motion to dismiss.
