Taylor Swift Sued by Utah Theme Park Over ‘Evermore’ Trademark

Utah’s Evermore Park sued Taylor Swift in federal court, alleging that merchandise sold using the title of her latest hit album “Evermore” violates the fantasy theme park’s trademark rights.

A spokesperson for Swift on Wednesday called the claims in the Tuesday complaint “frivolous,” and noted a news article that says the park’s founder and CEO is the target of several lawsuits and owes “millions of dollars” to contractors.

“The true intent of this lawsuit should be obvious,” the spokesperson told Bloomberg Law.
