Target Settles Fitness Discs Patent, Trademark Suit (2)

Target Corp. will settle a lawsuit alleging it infringed the patents and trademarks of Savvier Fitness LLC’s “Gliding” fitness discs.

The parties are finalizing the agreement and will dismiss the suit within 30 days, the joint notice filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California said.

No other details of the “settlement in principle” were available. Savvier’s counsel declined to comment on the settlement “at the moment.”.

“We are happy it has been resolved, and have nothing to share on the details of the settlement,” a Target representative said in an email.
