Target Seeks Dismissal of Atari’s Pong Trademark Claims

Target Corp. wants a federal trial court to toss Atari Interactive, Inc.'s allegations that the retailer counterfeited Pong products.

No showing has been made that Target sold fake or counterfeit Atari products, or that the retailer ever actually used a counterfeit mark, the company says in a motion to dismiss filed May 1 in the Southern District of New York.
