Ta-Nehisi Coates, More Pulitzer Winners Join AI Copyright Suits

Journalist and writer Ta-Nehisi Coates, Pulitzer Prize winning novelists Junot Diaz and Andrew Sean Greer, and other authors have joined a set of copyright infringement lawsuits against OpenAI Inc. and Meta Platforms Inc.

• The two proposed class actions were filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California in September but were amended on Thursday to include the additional authors.
