T-Mobile Hit with Suit Over Networking Tech in Gateways (1)

Arlington Technologies LLC accused T-Mobile US Inc. of infringing multiple wireless networking patents by selling several products including gateways.

Arlington Technologies sent a letter to T-Mobile in February alerting the wireless carrier to several products it said infringe US Patent Nos. 7,193,986, 7,324,491, 7,408,925, 8,886,789 and 9,398,055, according to a complaint filed March 7 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

T-Mobile and Sprint LLC placed protected methods into gateways, routers, mesh access points, GPS trackers, and children’s watches products, Arlington Technologies said in the complaint. T-Mobile and Sprint merged in 2020. ...
