Synopsys, Cadence Sue Hilco Over Suits ‘Designed to Harass’ (1)

Synopsys Inc. and Cadence Design Systems Inc. asked a Delaware court to block a patent-monetization company owned by Hilco Global from litigating a rash of cases pending in more than a dozen federal courts against 25 of their customers, part of what they call a “campaign against the semiconductor industry.”
