The US Supreme Court refused to hear a free speech challenge to an Alaska law that requires groups to disclose more information on political ads and certain donors to report when they give to groups that support political campaigns.
In an order Monday, the justices rejected a case over Alaska Ballot Measure 2, which made multiple changes to the state’s existing campaign disclosure and disclaimer law when voters supported it in 2020. Only two of those changes were at issue in this dispute.
