Stryker Hits Treace With Patent Suit Over Surgical Foot-Implants

Treace Medical Concepts Inc.'s surgical implants to address hammtertoe foot conditions infringe several patents, two Stryker Corp. units alleged in a federal lawsuit.

The complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware by Stryker European Operations Holdings LLC and Howmedica Osteonics Corp. asserts four Stryker patents related to its ToeTax Xpress System of intramedullary implants used in hammertoe-correction procedures: US Patent Nos. 8,414,583, 9,168,074, 10,383,671, and 12,059,186.
