Strava Ends Garmin Patent Suit on GPS-Segment Tracking Tech (1)

Strava Inc. dropped its lawsuit accusing Garmin Ltd. of infringing patents tied to GPS segment tracking and user-activity mapping, according to a Colorado federal court filing.

The case was closed Wednesday, one day after the fitness company filed a notice of voluntary dismissal in the US District Court for the District of Colorado. The dismissal left the door open for Strava to renew its allegations.
