Starbucks and Rothschild-Linked Firm Agree to End Patent Case

Starbucks Corp., patent-licensing company Analytical Technologies LLC, and patent owner Leigh Rothschild asked a Texas federal court to end their dispute that led to Rothschild’s defamation lawsuit against the coffee chain and its attorney.

The three parties agreed to dismiss all claims and counterclaims in the patent lawsuit, according to their joint motion filed Aug. 15 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
