Pacific Market International LLC, which sells Stanley-branded insulated bottles and cups, “willfully and intentionally ignored the carefully crafted restrictions” in various agreements, according to the complaint filed Feb. 17 in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut. Breaches included using Stanley as its company name, in advertising, in its website domain, in impermissible ways on packaging, and on product categories beyond those allowed, the complaint said.
