Getty Images’ copyright and trademark lawsuit against Stability AI Inc. should be dismissed or transferred to California, the artificial intelligence company told a federal court in Delaware.
Stability argued that the Delaware court lacks power, also known as personal jurisdiction, over Stability UK, which is a “necessary and indispensible party” in the case.
Stability US’s status as a Delaware holding company and parent company of Stability UK doesn’t establish jurisdiction over Stability UK, according to court filings in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
