Spin Master & Alpha Group Resolve Bakugan Toy Patent Disputes

Spin Master Corp. and Alpha Group Co. Ltd. have resolved their patent disputes in Canada, the U.K. and the U.S. related to the Bakugan toy.

Alpha agreed not to sell, after Jan. 31, Screechers Wild! products identified in three cases.

“We are very proud of the innovative technology behind the Bakugan products,” Spin Master’s general counsel, Chris Harris, said in a statement. “Spin Master has a history and reputation for enforcing our intellectual property and we will continue to vigorously protect our rights where necessary.”
