Sony Accuses Tencent of Blatantly Copying Horizon Video Game

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC sued to block the release of Tencent Holding Ltd.’s upcoming video game that Sony claims is a “slavish clone” of its popular “Horizon” franchise.

Tencent’s “Light of Motiram” copies from “Horizon” so blatantly that members of the public have already called it “insane” and “shameless,” Sony argued in a lawsuit filed July 25 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
