SolarPark Korea Wins Trade Secrets Injunction Against Solaria

SolarPark Korea Co. Ltd. was granted a preliminary injunction barring Solaria Corp. from using its trades secrets related to the mass-production of Solaria’s patented shingled solar modules.

SolarPark demonstrated that its “know-how” related to the production of Solaria’s modules has economic value and that there is a likelihood of irreparable harm, the US District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Wednesday. Evidence indicates Solaria has or could share its manufacturing trade secrets with other companies, the court said.
