A California-based solar energy consulting service sued a solar panel installation company over its use of a “confusingly similar” and stylized “E” logo, according to a federal lawsuit.
Powerevolution Inc. said it secured trademark registrations for the stylized “E” logo in 2022 after applying in 2020 and that Green Convergence began using a “nearly identical” mark on its website in 2023, according to the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California. Green Convergence Energy LLC is also a defendant.
