Snap Primed to Escape App Maker’s Trade Secret Claims

Snap Inc.'s attempt to escape claims that it stole trade secrets from another app maker should succeed because You Map Inc. failed to identify specific trade secrets, a federal magistrate judge in Delaware said.

Snap should also prevail over allegations of breach of contract, Lanham Act violations, and related claims, Judge Jennifer J. Hall said in a report and recommendation issued Tuesday.
