Snap Inc. convinced the Federal Circuit on Thursday to uphold a pair of administrative tribunal wins that knocked out most of two patents for video-message technology that the tech giant was accused of infringing.
In a Rule 36 judgment, a three-judge panel agreed that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board rightly found the SRK Technology LLC patents were obvious in light of prior inventions.
