Smoore Seeks to Block Rival Cannabis Vaping Devices from U.S.

Smoore filed a complaint with the International Trade Commission seeking to block imports of vaping products used for cannabis against 20 companies and their distributors.

  • Smoore claims the companies are copying its patented inventions for ceramic vaporizer cartridges and trying to pass them off as Smoore’s CCELL vaping products that it describes as the “gold standard of vaporizer offerings”
    • According to Smoore, its designs are popular because its vaporizers don’t produced the scorched flavor that other devices can give
  • Products named in the complaint are made in China, Switzerland and Canada
  • Tilt Holdings’s Jupiter unit and Greenlane are licensed ...
