Skydance, CEO Sued For Copyright Infringement Over ‘Gemini Man’

A New Jersey science fiction author is suing the producer and writers of “Gemini Man” alleging copyright infringement of his 2011 novel involving a clone who uses a time-traveling program.

Kissinger Sibanda, who is also an attorney, alleges that while marketing his book “The Return to Gibraltar” he asserted that “it would be a good fit for Will Smith as the lead,” his complaint filed Thursday in the US District for the Southern District of New York says.

The complaint refers to the film as “Gemini Men.”
