Skechers Hit With Patent Suit Over Hands-Free Shoe Product Line

Footwear company Kizik Design LLC sued competitor Skechers USA Inc., saying its Hands Free Slip-ins shoes infringe a suite of utility and design patents.

Skechers shoes including the Arch Fit, Go Walk, and Go Run product lines, incorporate methods and designs protected by US Patent Nos. 11,633,006, 12,274,325, 11,871,811 and 12,121,096 and US Design Patent Nos. D1038607 and D1037641, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
