A consumer dropped her proposed class action alleging moving company Sirva Relocation LLC negligently failed to protect the personal information of more than 480,000 people that was exposed in a 2023 data breach.
Judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha of the US District Court for the Central District of California dismissed the lawsuit April 10, one day after plaintiff Rosalyn Rivera filed a stipulation of dismissal. The order comes seven months after Aenlle-Rocha allowed most of Rivera’s claims to survive the company’s motion to dismiss.
