An R&B artist and drummer are dropping their copyright infringement claims against singer Chris Brown over his 2019 hit single, “No Guidance.”
Brandon Cooper and producer Timothy L. Valentine, known as Drum‘n Skillz, sued last October claiming that Brown and rapper and singer Drake copied elements of their song “I Love Your Dress.” The pair alleged that Brown’s Grammy-nominated song has similar beat patterns, melody, and lyrics, according to their complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
