Simpson Thacher Adds Evans to Fund Transactions Team in New York

Chris Evans has joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as a partner with the firm’s fund transactions team in New York, the firm said Tuesday.

Evans was most recently a managing director on the “GP” or general partner stakes team at Blackstone Inc., where he worked on sponsor minority stakes deals and advised Blackstone’s portfolio GPs on business strategy.

He will offer strategic advice to Simpson Thacher clients across the asset management industry, the firm said.
