Showtime Network Inc. is facing claims in Wyoming federal court that its 2021 documentary series called “UFO” infringes the trademarks owned by UFO Magazine Inc.
The Monday complaint said that UFO Magazine first registered the “UFO” mark in 2007 for “entertainment in the nature of a television series and motion picture film series.” The UFO mark has been used in its magazine since 1998, said the complaint, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming.
