Shein Accuses Temu of Massive Copyright, Trademark Theft (1)

Fast-fashion retailer Shein accused e-commerce rival Temu of organizing a “coordinated scheme” of intellectual property violations including trade secret theft, counterfeiting, and trademark and copyright infringement, in a federal lawsuit expanding the legal fight between the competitors.

Temu stole product designs, posed as Shein in advertisements and on the social media platform X, and pillaged information on top-selling items and pricing information, according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
