New York Shakespeare Festival, also known as Public Theater, has reached a confidential settlement with hotel company Ian Schrager Co. over its use of “The Public” trademark, according to a filing in the Southern District of New York.
Shakespeare Festival alleged IS Co. infringed on its marks to promote its own theatrical performances, musical entertainment, restaurant, and bar services.
