Serta Faces Infringement Suit Over ‘iComfortECO’ Mattress Mark

Serta Inc. was hit with a trademark infringement suit over the use of its “iComfortECO” mark on a line of mattresses.

Factory Direct Inc., another mattress seller, alleges Serta infringed its “Eco Comfort” mark and filed its complaint in the US District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma on Tuesday.

Factory Direct says it’s been using the mark since 2008 and registered it with the US Patent and Trademark Office in 2009 to be used on sleep products and various types of mattresses.
