Senators Propose Copyright Modernization Advisory Board (1)

A bipartisan quartet of U.S. senators is asking the Library of Congress to create an advisory board to help the Copyright Office modernize its information technology systems.

The request is the latest push by Senate lawmakers to speed up technology improvements at the Copyright Office. Attorneys and lawmakers have complained that the agency’s IT systems are outdated and inefficient.
