Senate Confirms Nomination of Attorney Richard Taranto to Federal Circuit Bench

On March 11, the U.S. Senate approved by a vote of 91-0 the nomination of Richard G. Taranto to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Taranto has considerable experience arguing before the court and the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Federal Circuit now has 10 of its 12 active judge seats filled, with the nominations of Raymond T. Chen and Todd M. Hughes pending (27 DER A-6, 2/8/13).
