Second U.S. Judge Derides Photo Copyright Lawyer as ‘Troll’

A New York lawyer has drawn the ire of a second federal judge, who called the attorney a “copyright troll” for how he represents photographers in infringement cases.

Richard P. Liebowitz of the Liebowitz Law Firm PLLC in Valley Stream, N.Y., escaped a fine, but at least two federal judges in Manhattan have now criticized his litigation practices.
