Sealed Air Executive Sued for Taking ‘Crown Jewels’ to Rival

Packaging company Sealed Air Corp. accused a former executive of theft of “the crown jewels” for its procurement operations in a federal trade secrets lawsuit.

Peter J. Thomas, who worked at Sealed Air for eight years, downloaded hundreds of sensitive documents days before quitting while concealing plans to join direct competitor Amcor Flexibles, the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina said.
